Privacy Policy

What we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. Kept short and written in plain language instead of buried in legalese.

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Pinovio is operated by Michael Pina as a sole proprietorship. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you:

  • Fill out a contact or inquiry form (name, email, message)
  • Start onboarding for a service (business name, contact name, phone number, business details)
  • Complete a payment through Stripe (billing name, card details — handled by Stripe, not stored by us)

We don't run tracking pixels, build ad profiles, or collect data we don't need.

How we use it

The information you share is used to:

  • Set up and deliver the service you signed up for
  • Send you service-related emails (onboarding steps, go-live confirmations, billing receipts)
  • Respond to questions you send through our contact form

We don't sell your information or hand it to advertisers, and we don't use it for anything beyond what's listed above.

Third-party services we use

Running Pinovio requires a few tools that touch your data. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — processes card payments. Stripe handles all payment data securely. We never see or store full card numbers. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Formspree — receives and forwards form submissions (contact and onboarding) to our inbox. Formspree Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare Workers — powers the AI chatbot for clients. Conversations go through Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
  • Anthropic — the AI model behind the chatbot. Messages typed into a chatbot are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the reply. Anthropic Privacy Policy
  • Twilio — sends automated text messages for the missed-call text-back service. Twilio Privacy Policy
  • Vercel — hosts this website. Vercel may log standard server data (IP address, browser type) for security and performance. Vercel Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics — gives us anonymous, aggregate stats about site visits (pages viewed, general location, device type) so we know what's working. Google Privacy Policy

If you're a customer of one of our clients

Some of our services process information belonging to our clients' customers — not just our clients:

  • If you call a business that uses our missed-call text-back, your phone number passes through Twilio so the automatic reply can reach you. We don't use it for anything else.
  • If you chat with an AI chatbot on a client's website, your messages pass through Cloudflare and Anthropic to generate the reply. Don't put sensitive personal information (card numbers, health details, passwords) into a chatbot.

In both cases we process this information only to run the service for that business. We don't build profiles, sell it, or use it to contact you. Questions or removal requests: michaelpina@pinovio.com.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as we're actively working together. If you cancel a service and request deletion, we'll remove your records from our systems within 30 days. Stripe and Formspree retain data per their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we have about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your information (subject to legal and billing record requirements)

To make any of these requests, email us at michaelpina@pinovio.com.

Cookies

We don't set our own tracking cookies. Third-party tools embedded in the site (Stripe, Google Analytics) may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll also email active clients.
