Tailored, not templated
Wix and Squarespace stop where their settings stop. We write the code, so the answer to “can you change this?” is yes.
About Pinovio
So we build the cover, and the machinery behind it. Pinovio is a one-person studio in Montreal: custom websites for businesses that want to look established, and automation that takes the repetitive work off their hands.
One person
Every detail
Pinovio is one person: Michael Pina, 18, studying science, computer science and math in Montreal. Every site is written here from a blank file — no theme, no drag-and-drop builder, no subcontractor you'll never meet.
The whole thing started from one idea: customers judge a book by its cover. A business with a sharp website reads as more capable than one with a template and a phone number, even when the work behind them is identical. Most small businesses lose that comparison before anyone picks up the phone. Your site is the cover, and we'd rather yours be the one that makes people assume you're the expensive option.
The other half of the job is time. Owners spend their day on work that doesn't need a person — answering the same question for the ninth time this week, or retyping a quote they've typed forty times. Automation takes that off the desk, so the hours go back into the work only the owner can do.
The fair question at this point is whether an 18-year-old should be trusted with the first thing your customers see. Look at the site you're standing on, then at what we've built for other businesses, and judge it on that.
Between the template and the agency.
